Data Analytics Engineer, Fleet Signals
Build the signal models and analytical surfaces that keep fleet telemetry, fuel, maintenance, and reporting evidence trustworthy.
Scope
What this role owns inside the operating system.
Analytical models for exception review, signal trust, and workflow evidence.
Data contracts between integrations, product surfaces, and customer readouts.
Responsibilities
Develop data models that reconcile source trust, operating context, and review-ready metrics.
Build analytical checks for stale telemetry, anomalous fuel variance, and service-risk signals.
Partner with product and implementation to define customer-facing metric behavior.
Document data assumptions clearly for customer reviews and internal product decisions.
What helps you succeed
Strong SQL and analytical modeling experience in production data environments.
Experience with telemetry, logistics, IoT, finance, or operational analytics is helpful.
Ability to explain data quality, confidence, and edge cases to non-data teams.
Practical judgment around what should become a workflow signal versus background noise.
